County Agency VoIP Migration Project
Diversified Systems led the effort to assist 24 agencies with the transition of their telephony services. The state’s Next Generation Telephony Service (NGTS) project was created to architect, procure and implement a next-generation hosted voice over IP (VoIP) telephony solution to replace the county legacy / end-of-life Centrex phone service.
This was a full life cycle development effort for network infrastructure, VoIP telephony, and contact center and IVR systems; including user and technical requirements, design, development, technical and user acceptance testing, State agency network assessment and remediation, and implementation and post implementation support. NGTS was designed to be utilized by all State agencies and is made available to all state government entities (e.g. County, local and educational institutions) to mutually benefit from sharing the State’s Ohio Academic Research Network (OAR net) and Office of Information Technology (OIT) data backbones and connectivity infrastructure, through the Ohio One Network infrastructure (OON).
